Execute the company's strategic sourcing program and category sourcing strategies.
Measure and report progress against objectives.
Conduct a thorough analysis of company’s current and future material and services spend. Collect and organize related specifications and standards.
Understand current market trends and conditions.
Build and maintain profiles of supply market and key suppliers.
Perform the required due diligence related to the assessment of prospective suppliers, executing requests for proposal/pricing, negotiating contracts, and ensuring effective transition to new suppliers. Uses financial analysis and modeling to evaluate supplier proposals.
Candidates should be majoring in Supply Chain Management. Students must complete have completed thier sophomore year.
Incumbent should have strong analytical skills, demonstrated interpersonal skills, and competence working both individually and as a team member. Incumbent should demonstrate the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and work with highly confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to present ideas logically and concisely to diverse audiences at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
Moderate to Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills are highly desired.
Working knowledge of eProcurement and eSourcing technologies.
Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment with some time working remotely, and some time required to be in-office/on-site. Candidates must be within close proximity to Pittsburgh.
