Supports the Community Relations team in charitable giving, volunteerism and sustainability strategy initiatives.
Solicits and coordinates volunteer and employee engagement opportunities.
Reviews and assists in processing charitable contributions.
Communicates with community partners to promote charitable giving and community initiatives.
Collaborates with community partners on providing meaningful volunteer opportunities for employees.
Supports employees in creating volunteer events and tracking volunteer time.
Assists with preparing materials and resources for employee giving campaign.
Organizes and tracks grant documentation.
Attends both internal and external meetings as well as volunteer and community events, as appropriate.
Applicants should be interested in pursuing a career in corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, employee engagement, sustainability and/or community development. Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of studies.
Experience managing programs and/or projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organization and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Must have a passion for uplifting and supporting community needs.
Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment with some time working remotely, and some time required to be in-office/on-site. Candidates must be within close proximity to Pittsburgh.
