The Oracle CC&B Analyst is responsible for software and hardware product delivery and performance for all application spaces including next generation technology such as cloud engineering and mobile applications. Drives products from design completion to volume production release through lifecycle including troubleshooting software and system problems to ensure performance and reliability.
Oracle CC&B Analyst is responsible for design, build, test and deploy technical solutions in Oracle CC&B. Should be able to translate customer business requirements into high quality solution designs for Oracle Utility products. Collaborates with Business Analysts, Project Leads and other IT teams to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related field and minimum 5 years prior utility industry experience which includes at least 4 years CCB system development experience.
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience totally 9 years is required.
Demonstrated success experience in the implementation of at least one Oracle CC&B system. Certification as Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) implementation specialis
Required Technical Knowledge
Requires advanced in-depth technical knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) systems.
Strong knowledge of Meter-2-Cash life cycle
Extensive knowledge of all CC&B modules and Oracle Utility Application Framework (OUAF)
Knowledge in CC&B integrations with various edge systems like utility website, Meter Data Management MDM), AMI, IVR, Payment channels etc.
Knowledge of CC&B schema and skill to write complex queries for data analysis

Knowledge of multiple programming languages, database management systems and development platforms
Skills in understanding and explaining the most technical issues and solutions in non-technical terms; working effectively in, and leading teams and across organizations; balancing and prioritizing between multiple work streams; collaborating with colleagues and teams in different fields across a diverse organization; solving the most advanced complex problems in own area of work
Problem solving & Analytical skills
Experience in design, development, coding, and testing of business/commercial applications using ASP.Net, C#, Multi-Threading, ADO.Net, XML, XSD, and Web Services
Experience in end-to-end SDLC, including configuration management using tools like Microsoft Team foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps.
Key Job Accountabilities
Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs existing Oracle CC&B system
Implement edge system integration to Oracle CCB for exchanging data via API, webservices and messaging queues
Responsible for collaborative work with customer experience business unit clients and IT staff to deliver effective and innovative business technology solutions
Sets best practices for CCB solution alignment with relevant industry, regulatory, and technical requirements
Designs and develops new integrations with external vendors and CC&B system as required
Researches and suggests new technologies, resources to improve CC&B application performance
Supports integration system testing with other edge systems
Leads medium size projects and initiatives in customer service area.
Assists in resolving problems and issues as they arise or refers complex problems for resolution
Interacts with users to help identify issues; troubleshoot problems and provides solution
Works with application vendors, technical support issues, and application evaluation
Coordinates vendor relations, including analysis and correction of processing issues, applications/support maintenance including fixes

This position is not required to be performed at a specific APS facility as long as adequate technology and a solid ergonomic set up are present. Pending agreement with leadership, employees hired into this role will be able to choose where they prefer to perform their work. Employees will have two options to choose from:
APS office based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from an APS facility.
Home based: The employee prefers to work most of the time from his/her home.
*Employees in Flex roles are required to reside in Arizona (or NM for Four Corners-based employees). Role types are subject to change based on business need.
