Exelon HR Intern - PECO in PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania

Position Title: Exelon Human Resources Intern

Location: Exelon Corporation

Southern Pennsylvania Region

Length of Internship: Approximately 12 months – 24 months (Full Time during Summer, Part Time during sessions)

Primary Purpose of Position:

Provide assistance to the Human Resources Department in administering Human Resource policies, programs, and services. Assist Human Resource Generalists with staffing/recruitment, benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and other Human Resource needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Support records room.

• Provides support to all major Human Resource functions such as benefits, compensation, and training. Uses policies and principles to coordinate Human Resource related projects

• Work together with employees, supervisors and managers to resolve employee relations issues

• Administration and update of policies and procedures

• Compile and provide data to management regarding: vacancies, turnover, sourcing, exit interview and other statistics as needed

• Assist HR VP and perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in services

• Testing Administration

Requirements:

• Rising Juniors ONLY

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong computer skills to include: MS Word & Excel

• A strong sense of urgency and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently

• Excellent customer service skills are essential

• Experience with confidential document

• Previous HR experience preferred
