Summary of Responsibilities:

Bring your positive energy to ATC! We're looking for a Transmission Planning Engineer to be part of our collaborative team that assesses the present and future needs of the electrical grid. As part of our team, you’ll use electrical system models to analyze grid performance, develop network solutions, and determine the best value plan to interconnect distribution loads and generations.

Essential Responsibilities:

You’ll use your bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering (or related degree) and/or experience in transmission system planning to help new resources and loads connect to the system by coordinating with interconnection customers, validating modeling data, forecasting transmission system issues, and collaborating on solutions to optimize transmission system reliability and efficiency.

ATC embraces flexibility in our work and our workplace. You are able to choose to work at home, or our offices in Cottage Grove, De Pere or Pewaukee, Wis. or Kingsford, Mich., depending on your schedule for the day and the needs of the business.
