Pike Corporation Small Cell Telecommunications Foreman-SCTELECOMF in Pembroke Pines, Florida
Position Summary: The Small Cell Telecommunications Foreman is responsible for leading, directing, and working with a team of technicians who install Small Cell Nodes and for providing oversight on Outside Plant Telecommunications/Fiber Construction. This position reports directly to the Superintendent and may require travel depending on clients demands.
Essential Functions:
Direct and supervise the Small Cell Technician, Laborer, and Equipment Operator.
Delegate daily tasks and complete projects by deadline.
Operate a variety of equipment and/or vehicles.
Maintain a safe working environment for self and team members.
Properly and effectively perform any task related to communications construction. Monitor work in progress for quality, safety and production.
Accurately oversee payroll time reporting and proper coding of time sheets.
Submit timely reports as directed by the superintendent.
Maintain compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications - External
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in the position/career field associated with Small Cell as a Field Foreman/Lead Technician.
OSHA 30 Certification preferred
First Aid/CPR Certification
RF Awareness Training
Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain CDL
Knowledge and utilization of common advanced Telecom equipment including but not limited to: Power Meters, Sweep Meters, Multi-Meters, OTDRs and Signal Identifiers.
Must be able to safely lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
Previous experience supervising small groups
Strong attention to detail and leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Travel required depending on customer’s needs

The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
