Job Summary and Description:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS/openSUSE/Red Hat)
Implement and manage deployment automation of Linux Servers in on-prem and cloud environments
Manage patches and system updates for Linux environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
Ensure system security through regular updates and monitoring.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and team members.
Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Must have 10+ years as a Linux Administrator
Skills and Attributes:
Proficiency in using Ansible for automation.
Experience with SUSE Manager (SUMA) for system management.
Familiarity with network protocols, security, and system monitoring tools. (e.g., PRTG, AKIPS, NAS protocols - NFS)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with containerization technologies. (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with cloud platforms. (Azure preferred)
Knowledge in scripting languages. (Bash/Python)
The salary range for this position is $110,000 USD to $140,000 USD annually.
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD and paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
