Position Specific Description
The CWE Valuation and Scheduling Engineer will oversee the prioritization and optimization of all work to maximize revenue and minimize downtime from a portfolio view. This team schedules daily work each morning for our wind, solar, and energy storage generation fleet. The position presently follows a 10-hour rotating day shift schedule that requires candidates to work some weekends and holidays. No night shifts required.
Other responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Validate scheduler plan for financing/contract implications, warranty coordination, workforce optimization and routing, weather, parts, coordination with Central Maintenance
Communicate and coordinate with sites on work plans to identify and correct any issues
Develop and adjust the preventive maintenance plans for the renewable generation portfolio
Monitor dashboards and KPI’s to identify and track potential issues and work with the sites to take action
An ideal candidate has wind or solar operations/maintenance experience OR data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) development experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provides full-time technical support to the operations and business unit personnel
Performs system testing and documentation to critical systems during significant changes and/or upgrade
Analyzes and identifies the root cause of - and implements comprehensive technical solutions to - complex application deficiencies and system issues
Provides technical leadership in the functional specification, design, and implementation of new (as well as enhancements to existing) security center applications and tools
Develops new (and improves existing) processes with goal of increasing productivity, reducing risk of system failure, promoting efficiency in work flow, and meeting or exceeding the key operational performance targets
Establishes, documents, and maintains procedures and guidelines related to the day-to-day operational support provided to the operations and business unit personnel
Travels to power plants for onsite troubleshooting support
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
