Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy’s Power Generation Division is looking for a Lead Program Manager to support the engineering and reliability programs/projects within the Solar and Storage organization in Engineering and Operations Support Services (EOSS).

Responsibilities

The Lead Program Manager engineer will own and be accountable for a number of key tasks:

• Demonstrates a high degree of creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and guiding extensive processes improvement programs and activities

• Manages one or more programs of complex diversity and scope which are of critical importance to overall company objectives

• Provide functional expertise on projects to ensure timely and effective project execution

• Applies advanced analytical skills within functional area to decompose work into manageable value-based units

• Creates and updates documentation for all processes

• Address data requests that come in from leadership and other teams in a timely manner

• Perform data analysis to support event response and component RCA’s as needed at times the team is stretched

• Lead initiatives as needed to improve the state of the Solar and Storage Fleet reliability

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Master's Degree (Engineering or Business)

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

• Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
