  • Evaluate company policies, procedures, and practices; accounting and budgeting policies and practices; applicable procurement processes and procedures

  • Negotiate scope, resource allocation, and timeline, as appropriate, with other companies, Corporate Officers, department, and division management

  • Recommend cost effective solutions both verbally and in written correspondence

  • Interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, management, project personnel and vendors to successfully meet shifting needs

  • Analyze information, identify needs, develop action plans, and provide recommendations

  • Develop and facilitate presentations of data and recommendations

Qualifications

The essentials

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in the support of the construction and maintenance of electric distribution facilities and equipment

The preferred

  • Facilitate multiple projects concurrently

  • Experience working with SAP in a corporate environment

You should know

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

  • Work Location if extensive travel is involved

  • The primary work location for this position is Ontario S/C however, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).

  • Position will require up to 60% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.

  • Relocation does not apply to this position.

  • This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.

Testing

  • This position requires testing and applicants who are identified to continue through the selection process will be invited to test via email. Candidates who have previously passed these assessment(s), in some cases, may not need to retest again for this position.
