Lead Change Management efforts for the Transformation Office by focusing on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.
Establish and maintain a change management framework, templates for deliverables, best practices, and processes; for use across the organization to establish a consistent approach to change management.
Work to drive faster user adoption and higher expertise on enterprise wide projects with changes impacting the workforce to ensure that the desired business results are achieved with minimized resistance. Establish a change management scorecard to measure the rate of transformation in the organization.
Create and maintain an archive of change management tools and templates, consistent with the selected overall change management framework; ensure the organization’s change management efforts adopt these through influence, coaching and formal training
Establish an ongoing monitoring and review of change management practices across the organization to ensure practices are being followed and that feedback and input to those practices are being incorporated
Keep connected externally with best practices in the change management space and update internal practices as appropriate
Work with business groups such as Operations, Communications, IT, HR, Finance, and Safety in the formulation of change management plans and activities
Work directly with designated change management representatives and develop a set of actionable and targeted change management tactics, including but not limited to communication plans, stakeholder assessment and engagement plans and organizational readiness assessments
Coach senior leaders and executives in the Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodology, responsibilities and actions; assisting them with mandates as change sponsors, messaging, key approaches etc. Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.
Support the various project/process teams/committees to integrate change management activities into their implementation plans.
Partner with internal resources such as Communications and Learning & Development to include relevant tactics into the change management plans and to execute those plans
Education & Experience
Degree required with a major in Business, Psychology, Communication or Human Resources preferred
7+ years of broad business experience including change leadership roles on large projects
Deep knowledge, understanding and experience in organizational change management principles
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
Understanding of technical or software applications and software development lifecycle
Exceptional and concise written and verbal communication skills for all audiences using a variety of communication vehicles
