Oversee the operation and maintenance of power generation equipment including large steam turbines, boilers, pumps, and fans in a highly automated environment. As a member of plant management, work with operators, mechanics, designers, and various technical experts to assess equipment performance and troubleshoot issues. Recommend and implement solutions as appropriate. Responsibilities:• Build and lead teams or provide work direction to employees to ensure success of projects and/or solve problems.• Perform predictive and root cause analysis of problems.• Technical and financial responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, coordinating, and scheduling a wide variety of engineering projects.• Responsible for the preparation of specifications and review of bids in support of engineering projects. Project execution and process improvement.• Interact with other business units, vendors, and regulatory agencies and authorized inspectors to ensure regulatory compliance.• Provides technical expertise, leadership, direction and training in various work groups.
