JOB SUMMARY

Supports the implementation and on-going coordination of ITC’s framework for compliance with the North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) and the Regional Entity (RE) Reliability Standards for ITC Holdings. Assists in the administration of programs and processes to ensure regulatory compliance with applicable Reliability Standards and functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administers documentation for Reliability Standards compliance, reviews and archives compliance and internal controls documentation.

• Review IT, Engineering, Operations, and Security compliance related documentation necessary to ensure NERC compliance and facilitate continuing process and performance improvement.

• Functions as a team member for pre-audit activities, including conducting internal pre-audit and controls reviews with various stakeholders responsible for specific standard compliance.

• Maintains documentation necessary to meet audit requirements as set forth by NERC and REs; ensures that such documentation is able to demonstrate complete and full compliance with existing Reliability Standards.

• Assists in the development of presentations and training materials necessary to support sharing compliance related information across the company.

• Functions as a subject matter expert with Open Access Technology International (OATI) webCompliance software.

• Monitors the regulatory activities of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), NERC, and the REs as necessary to maintain awareness of changes in the regulatory environment.

• Support the enhancement and refinement of NERC reliability business processes, policies, procedures, and standards.

• Performs compliance spot checks to ensure NERC reliability requirements are properly and clearly addressed and audit trails are comprehensive and complete.

• Supports senior and principal analysts as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Reliability Assurance Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or relevant equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance related activities such as compliance program development, administration, tracking and analysis and documentation development.

Senior Reliability Assurance Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or relevant equivalent experience and/or education.

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience:

• as an Electrical Engineer in the utility industry; or as an

• operator in a transmission control room environment

• Active NERC certification preferred, and PJM is a plus.

• Exceptional written communications skills required, especially the ability to convey complex information clearly, concisely, and effectively in writing compliance narrative responses.
