As Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring reliability and risk assessments for assets within the Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP) and Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) are developed, carried out and are effective.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and maintain a facilities and distribution reliability and risk assessments to provide safe, environmentally responsible, and reliable service that is compliant with the requirements of applicable standards and regulations (CSA Z662 and O.Reg. 210/01. and as prescribed by the provincial and federal regulatory authorities. (Canada Energy Regulator, Technical Standards and Safety Authority) in Canada.

  • Provide technical support on facilities and distribution integrity matters.

  • Responsible for Reliability-Based Inspection (RBI) Assessment of piping and equipment.

  • Responsible for the development and enhancement for risk models to support Facilities and Distribution assets.

  • Conduct reliability analysis including historic failure analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).

  • Support team in developing innovative solutions to complex problems using industry-leading techniques and tools.

  • Requires detailed knowledge of codes and standards, regulations, company policies and procedures and practices.

  • May represent the Company on various industry-related committees and forums including formal codes and standard writing committees or industry task forces.

  • Work covers all Enbridge Gas Inc assets covered under the Facilities Integrity Management and Distribution Integrity Management Programs and will include travel and fieldwork.

Who You Are:

You have the following education & experience:

  • Engineering degree with 7 or more years of related experience.

  • Registered as professional engineer within Ontario.

  • Previous experience in Pipeline Engineering, Station Engineering, Facilities Integrity, and/or Reliability Analysis.

  • Experience and understanding of distribution system and station design, construction practices and field operations.

  • Innovative thinking to develop leading solutions to complex problems using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to motivate employees through flexibility, establishing relationships, and demonstrated leadership.

  • This position is expected to overcome challenges faced when managing multiple projects at a time, responding to technical and operational inquiries, facilitating teams, or solving technical or operational problems.

Working Conditions:

  • Some travelling is required for this role (15-20%). Valid G License and responsible driving record is needed.
