This position will play a meaningful role in data implementation as part of ERP Project for newly acquired US Utility companies. This person will provide subject matter expertise related to Fixed Asset Accounting around data profiling, scoping, quality review, conversion approach, validations, and associated issue resolution. Additionally, this role will support the Internal Controls team to document control points in business processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Support planning and communication of the data work during each ERP phase.

  • Accountable to ensure execution of data readiness scope and deliverables to meet program timelines.

  • Leverage data expertise to provide support and input to ERP Functional teams, Business SMEs and the System Integrator for data profiling, extraction, cleansing, conversion and validation.

  • Identify data readiness issues and challenges, provide recommendations to remediate, plan and implement resolution and escalate as the need arises.

  • Review Integration Functional Designs and Report Functional Designs to identify any data impacts.

  • Participate in Conversion Functional Design reviews to ensure the process, data mapping, and data rules are accurately brought together.

  • Provide your experience with Powerplan, SAP and Oracle to help translate conversion data and align with our existing data elements.

  • Support Finance business team in validating data using excel.

  • Support the execution of data conversion processes across entire data lifecycle to meet program timelines and key dates, including cutovers.

Who You Are:

Required:

  • Related University degree or equivalent in Business or Technology.

  • Intermediate level role with 2 or more years of related experience

  • Experience with SAP, Powerplan, or Oracle Cloud.

  • Experience with data standards and data quality reporting.

  • Able to identify risks and issues and recommend actions to remedy and escalate when necessary.

  • Proven interpersonal, communication and influence skills applied with technical and functional personnel.

  • Willing to get into the details to help progress the work and report status.

  • Able to understand the enterprise wide and Business Unit specific requirements.

  • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Project

Preferred:

  • Proven experience in energy storage and distribution

  • Experience with large scale, sophisticated project go-lives (i.e. cutovers)

  • Experience with data transformation on large enterprise programs

  • Experience with Internal Controls and mapping to business processes

  • Experience with data sustainment and enterprise data governance

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment; some travel to other offices with direct reports

  • May be required to work overtime during peak periods

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
