This is a challenging yet rewarding role within the Retirement Services function providing a positive employee and retiree experience. This role is responsible for providing day to day pension operational support and the delivery of retirement programs on an enterprise-wide basis – with focus on expereince with timely and accurate service

What you will do:

  • Field inquiries from stakeholders to discuss enrollment/retirement/termination options with respect to pension and retiree benefit options, completion of paperwork etc.

  • Assist stakeholders with various online pension modelling tools.

  • Assign and complete cases utilizing enterprise case management tools.

  • Prepare communications and correspondence including large mail merge files.

  • Review of weekly audit reports to ensure accuracy of pension related data.

  • Enter basic data changes/corrections into various related systems.

  • Reconciliation of various pension payments.

  • Support team with operations and project work assisting in reaching the team’s strategic goals.

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 3 years progressive business experience, including customer service or equivalent certification.

  • Proficient in Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites of products.

  • Customer Service experience.

  • High degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to listen carefully to others, while being polite, courteous and respectful in interactions.

  • Conveys facts and information clearly in both written and verbal communication.

  • Experience with case management, cisco phone systems and pension and/or benefit operational work experience is beneficial.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
