Multiple Student positions available(24+ hours per week)
The TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree-seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. The program is an extension of the educational process, providing practical experience to complement formal classroom work. The co-op program recruits students from colleges to give them an opportunity to work in a professional environment related to their field of study.
Our students may be placed in one of the following potential areas:
Project Management Engineering
Engineering Technical Training
Transmission Engineer & Construction
Enrolled in an ABET accredited university or college and enrolled in the area of study (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil and Industrial - Engineering)or related discipline program.
If participating as a co-op student, enrollment in the university’s co-op program is a must.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Classification: Junior year or higher
Degrees: Bachelors or Masters
Satisfactory progress in school and on the job
Hours will be flexible but must be within a Monday – Friday (8:00AM – 6:00PM) schedule.
