Hybrid Role: Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location.

Emergency Response: Yes – Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE’s emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Responsible for department and/or site-wide performance indicators. Analyzes, recommends, maintains and monitors performance indicators to assure the indicators and targets continue to drive overall plant performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Establishes and oversees industry and site/department performance indicators/targets used for goal setting, baselining, and trending.

  • Researches, analyzes and summarizes data to ensure site management focuses on the proper issues, including recognizing, following and analyzing historical data to map trends and determine future performance requirements to meet station performance targets

  • Prepares, generates, and analyzes ad hoc and recurring complex reports

  • Conducts benchmarking of nuclear industry best practices to support business unit strategic goals and objectives and makes recommendations regarding solutions as needed

  • Participates in the site’s strategic planning process

  • Develops various specialized and recurring presentation packages used by site senior management

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of nuclear power plant experience, preferably within Operations, Maintenance or Engineering; or Associates degree and seven years of nuclear power plant experience, preferably within Operations, Maintenance or Engineering; or High School Diploma and nine years of nuclear power plant experience, preferably within Operations, Maintenance or Engineering

  • Must be able to maintain a position on the Fermi Emergency Response Organization (ERO) in support of the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP)

Other Qualifications

Preferred

  • Currently holds or has previously held a SRO License or SRO Certification

  • Experience within nuclear Operations, Maintenance or Engineering

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to maintain a position on the Fermi Emergency Response Organization (ERO) in support of the Radiological Emergency Response Plan (RERP)

  • Other: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creating complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, graphs and tables.

  • Additionally, must demonstrate strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Advanced analytical skills consistent with the ability to analyze and interpret data, draw inferences from the data and present them to site leadership

  • Problem solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations.

  • Ability to manage projects and effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the organization
