PSEG is seeking a Revenue Control intern. The Revenue Control team is responsible for maintaining and applying the PSEG Standards and Business Controls, accurate and timely reporting of Company electric & gas revenue statistics for month-end financial close, and management of the Customer Bill Print Process.
Candidate should be a rising senior.
This position is remote, with the option to attend in person meetings in the Newark office as needed.
As an Intern for the PSE&G Revenue Control & SOX department, you will be working with a team of analysts who support the Revenue Cycle process. Intern will support the following projects / business functions:
· Ensure that controls are documented, communicated and operated in compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements
· Gather and analyze data extractions for month-end close, an upcoming rate case filing, and other ad hoc data requests which support the business
· Support AMI Project and Benchmarking Data Access Project with Information Technology Department
. Assist with gathering and performing analysis to support initiatives around customer data
Candidates need to be able to meet deadlines, juggle competing priorities, operate independently while knowing when to ask for help or guidance, and view all work from a customer's perspective. Being technically savvy is an advantage. Strong communication skills are critical, particularly written communication, and candidates with direct customer service experience are desired. Data analytic skills are also critical.

Required Education/Skills :
The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Data Science/Analytics degree programs. Candidates must have completed junior level course work for consideration. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. We are targeting: Currently enrolled/matriculating students and able to commute to the assigned work location as needed. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.
