This position will report to the Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Director Citizenship & Culture, and will develop, lead and execute key corporate diversity and inclusion and volunteerism strategies that are integrated into the broader Citizenship & Culture corporate strategy. The goal is to integrate diversity and inclusion into PSEG's business across the enterprise and in our communities. The role will work with senior management and executive level officers to incorporate and leverage diversity and a culture orf inclusion as part of Company culture, systems and processes. Key responsibilities include: creating and implementing cross-functional teams in enterprise diversity strategies; leading measurable cultural change by designing and implementing initiatives, pilots, and education programs; working with senior management, executive level officers and the external facing stakeholders to design and develop a culture that creates a productive work climate for all employees. Working within Corporate Citizenship and Culture, this role will be a part of the Corporate Citizenship & Culture and Diversity & Inclusion leadership team. Manage employee giving programs and strategic partnerships with non-profits and in collaboration with key stakeholders. Build community relationships and an integrated plan for measurable Diversity & Inclusion Council and EBRG effectiveness. Create collaborative models across enterprise and business functions to educate and communicate all programs to new employees, and retirees in addition to current employees MAST and BU. Handle select municipal relationships for community involvement. Grant program officer for all program requests that include volunteer opportunities. Manage the employee side of Cyber grants and all employee giving and volunteering data.
Create, implement and champion diversity strategies to ensure that the organizations' culture, systems and processes support an environment where leaders and employees seek, embrace and incorporate individual differences to contribute to the business goals of the enterprise, including internal & external relationships
Develop, implement and drive enterprise culture strategies and initiatives to achieve the enterprise business goals with a focus on integration of diversity, inclusion and volunteerism into business processes
Manage the integrated strategy and implementation of the DI Council and Employee Business Resource Groups and provide DI counsel for measurable progress
Lead, create and implement an enterprise-level employee volunteerism and community engagement strategy that will support the citizenship, community, and culture strategic objectives internally and externally, enhance PSEG reputation and branding.
Conduct benchmarking analysis and create and implement stretch goals on diversity and culture
Develop and implement a complementary internal/external communications strategy to support the DI and culture objectives identified in the overall Citizenship & Culture plan
Basic Qualifications ( Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge):
· Bachelor's degree
· 10 or more years of developing and advancing diversity and inclusion strategies for measureable results for a large corporate environment.
· Without a bachelor's degree 14 or more years of experience in developing and advancing diversity and inclusion strategies for measureable results for a large corporate environment
· 5 years of leadership experience driving results and managing others/staff
· Substantial work experience in the field of diversity and inclusion, employee community investment, and workplace culture
Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:
· Strong leadership, organizational and relationship building skills
· Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability and credibility to work through all levels of the enterprise as a business partner and change agent
· Good knowledge of latest trends in workplace culture and diversity and inclusion
· Good knowledge of EEO/AA, Employee Relations and employment laws, as well as guidelines and current trends in Diversity & Inclusion practices
· Strong consulting and project management skills (ability to scope, develop and manage project solutions)
· Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to conduct research, analyze results and make proposals/recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative factors/data
· Strong business and financial acumen, with proven experience in measurement, benchmarking, data analysis, and interpretation
Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:
Master's Degree in related field
Experience in the development and implementation of a measurable and comprehensive diversity, inclusion and culture strategies for a Fortune 500 company
Functional and technical experience in relational database, HRMS systems (SAP, SQL, Crystal Reports, PeopleSoft - SAP preferred)
The ability to conduct research, analyze results and make proposals/recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative factors/data
