Job Summary

This opportunity is open to current PSEG employees only.

Apply professional experience and business knowledge to shape state, regional, and national environmental laws, regulations and policies. In support of the Director – Environmental Policy, engage in advocacy at various federal and state forums, including regulatory agencies such as NJDEPand PJM, in support of PSEG’s environmental objectives. Advise of environmental rules changes and analyze impacts to the business. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at the various forums where relevant environmental issues and policies are being discussed, developed and advanced. Through interfaces with key internal and external stakeholders, advance PSEG’s environmental policy goals, including with respect to climate change, carbon policy, environmental justice and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • In support of the Director – Environmental Policy, engage in advocacy and shape the rules at various federal and state forums, including regulatory agencies such as NJDEP and PJM, in support of PSEG’s environmental objectives.

  • Advise of environmental rules changes and analyze impacts to the business. Provide PSEG with timely guidance and support in implementing applicable environmental regulations.

  • Build relationships of integrity and trust on environmental matters with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience at a utility, state or federal agency, legislative office, trade association or the equivalent.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental policy issues.
