Primary Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Own the implementation and execution of new programs and products in support of the company’s clean energy programs portfolio in Delaware and New Jersey. Lead team responsible for program management and strategy by evaluating program performance, market trends (e.g., utility benchmarks), technology trends (e.g., scientific research), consumer trends (e.g., existing customer behaviors), and policy trends (e.g., regulatory priorities).
Primary Duties
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Own the implementation and execution of new programs and products in support of the company’s clean energy programs portfolio (energy efficiency, demand response, electric vehicle) in Delaware and New Jersey. (60%)
Build and maintain relationships with other teams (Governmental Regulatory and External Affairs, Marketing & Communications, Smart Grid, Energy Acquisition, Financial Planning & Analysis, EU peer groups) to foster idea generation and implement programs. (20%)
Oversee and direct program activities and provide strategic direction and oversight for program innovation and the development of future programs and pilots. (10%)
Foster and support people development. Evaluate performance and provide coaching for personnel. Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and learning. Provide input on development and retention processes for employees. (10%)
Job Scope
JOB SCOPE
Manage clean energy programs from implementation to execution and successfully achieve key performance metrics.
Oversee team of 18-20 management employees, supplement support via contractors
Responsible for vendor and contract management for clean energy programs
Oversight of regulatory reporting for clean energy programs and associated requests
Provide strategic insights for program design and filing development.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Law).
10 or more years of professional business experience, specifically with leading and engaging in projects
In lieu of degree, 12-15 years of relevant experience.
Experience with and deep knowledge of R&D / new product development processes. Previous hands-on experience with relevant customer facing technologies in the energy sector.
Demonstrated strategic planning and stakeholder engagement skills, and experience leading organizations and people through change.
Demonstrated ability to discuss complex technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding and approval.
3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Advanced degree in Business or Engineering fields.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: USD $132,800.00/Yr. - USD $199,200.00/Yr.
