Job Description

Core Responsibilities
Leads and coordinates project activities and routine application support with stakeholders in IT and the Busines.
Oversees the design and implementation and overall architecture of the OMS and associated applications.
Works with the IT OMS and Integration partner teams to implement a robust set of services.
Identifies business requirements and creates a plan of action.
Works with the OMS, broader IT team, and business users to optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
Coordinates with the Vendors, System Integrators, Product Designers and architects to translate requirements into technology solutions
Leads integration of front-end and back-end aspects of the application.
Act as the requirements governance lead coordinating with the Distribution Control Center and other business stakeholders through the planning and implementation process
Plan and provide Steering committee updates for qualifying projects.
Provide training and demonstration to OMS users as required.
Exercise responsibilities as the NMS Electrical model build SME and provide guidance to model administration team.
Provide OMS storm and weather event support services. Serve as the OMS Unit leader on rotation.
Follow health, safety, and environmental policies, EEO, Standards of Business Conduct, and all other applicable company policy and procedures.
Perform other related task and assignment as required.
Required Education/Experience
Master's Degree Computer Science, Math/Science, or Engineering and (2) years of IT experience or Working experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering Working experience in supporting IT infrastructure of a large user base, focused on Software engineering or

Relevant Work Experience
Must have ability to learn new technology as required for the job using documentation and other available resources
Experience of leadership and hands-on project management experience
Must be able to lead team activities, perform project management functions and deliver complex and critical projects.
Strong skills and experience with MS Office or similar suite. Word Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project.
Anticipate, identify and manage resolutions of critical obstacles
Able to act as a coach and mentor for assigned team members with the ability to transfer knowledge to various audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills m,
Flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget
Ability to present at different levels of management
Experience in troubleshooting data flow components and applications to ensure seamless operation
Ability to write and Optimize database queries to extract and manipulate data efficiently
Strong knowledge of Network management systems, Electric Model administration
Knowledge of architecture and programming/scripting experience are highly
Experience in evaluating and assessing technology architecture components for optimal performance
