ConEdison Section Manager, Gas Planning in New York, New York

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of work experience

  • Master's Degree and at least 6 years of work experience

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Energy, Science, Operations Mgmt, or approved equivalent and at least 8 years of work experience

  • Master's Degree Business, Engineering, Energy, Science, Operations Mgmt, or approved equivalent and at least 6 years of work experience

Relevant Work Experience

  • Experience developing and troubleshooting Excel worksheets is required.

  • Strong analytical and computer skills, particularly with Excel is required.

  • Experience leading teams in informal settings is required.

  • Experience in creating and presenting PowerPoint slides is required.

Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Licenses and Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

Physical Demands

  • Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday

  • Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

  • Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday

Additional Physical Demands

  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
