ConEdison Section Manager, Gas Planning in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of work experience
Master's Degree and at least 6 years of work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree Business, Engineering, Energy, Science, Operations Mgmt, or approved equivalent and at least 8 years of work experience
Master's Degree Business, Engineering, Energy, Science, Operations Mgmt, or approved equivalent and at least 6 years of work experience
Relevant Work Experience
Experience developing and troubleshooting Excel worksheets is required.
Strong analytical and computer skills, particularly with Excel is required.
Experience leading teams in informal settings is required.
Experience in creating and presenting PowerPoint slides is required.
Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated analytical skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
Additional Physical Demands
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
