ConEdison Project Specialist - Compensation in New York, New York

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Human Resources or related field. and 5 years of work experience or

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Human Resources or related field. and 3 years of work experience. or

Relevant Work Experience

  • Broad compensation and/or benefits experience. Required.

  • Must have excellent Presentation and customer service skills. Required

  • Advanced data analytics and modelling using programs such as Excel, Power BI, etc. Required

  • Excellent oral and written communications as well as interpersonal skills. Required

  • Ability to drive multiple assignments and projects to successful completion. Required

  • Ability to review and interpret regulations relating to compensation. Required

  • An understanding of budgeting and accounting. Preferred

  • Willing and able to learn new regulations related to benefits and compensation and integrate these regulations into projects and programs.

  • Knowledge of PeopleFluent and Oracle systems for compensation planning. Preferred

  • Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents

  • Project Demonstrated project management skills

  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Promotes information sharing

Licenses and Certifications

  • Driver's License Required

  • Other: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Preferred

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred

Physical Demands

  • Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

  • Stand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workday

  • Ability to read small print and symbols

Additional Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.

  • Must be able and willing to travel as needed.

  • Must be able to provide off hours support as required.
