ConEdison Procurement Specialist in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Associate's Degree and 4 years' work-related experience or
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' work-related experience.
Relevant Work Experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products, required.
Contract Management, Contract Creation, Sourcing Strategy, Spend Analysis, Market Intelligence, Negotiation and analytical skills, Supplier Analysis, required.
Proficiency in Contract and Procurement Law, required.
Knowledge with RFx Development and Execution, required.
Understanding of Supplier Analysis, Screening & Selection, required.
Understanding of spend analytics, market intelligence, financial analysis and regulation, required.
Understanding of Supplier Relationship Management, required.
Oracle knowledge, preferred.
Understanding of Con Edison operational knowledge, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
Ability to read small print and symbols
Additional Physical Demands
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
