ConEdison Junior Solution Architect - AMI IT Technical Associate in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or Information Technology and Minimum 1 year of work experience. (Project/full-time/internship) OR 6 months experience in ConEds IT CO-OP or summer internships
Relevant Work Experience
Knowledge of writing, executing, and debugging SQL queries, required.
Experience architecting or solution designs to implement integrations, required.
Exposure to methods relating to application design, software development, and testing, required.
Understanding of Waterfall, Agile or other rapid application development methods, preferred.
Capable of working independently or with a team, required.
Is passionate about problem solving, required.
Leadership, talent development and team minded qualities are a plus, preferred.
Ability to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities while meeting deadlines, required.
Exposure to systems design across one or more platforms and supporting future integrations of these systems, required.
Performs a role in various business initiatives to support IT and business. Supports the project roadmaps and collaborates with the project team members, preferred.
Demonstrates the value in taking an iterative and agile approach, preferred.
Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate functional requirements and design meetings, required.
Make recommendation and develop a plan to transform ideas into solutions and designs, implement solutions to improve business processes, required.

Additional Physical Demands
The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
