ConEdison GIS Infrastructure Specialist (Manhattan & Spring Valley) in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. or
Master's Degree Masters degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Education/Experience
- Master's Degree Masters degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Relevant Work Experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Required
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to wok collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Required
Strong understanding of scheduling tasks, creating batch jobs, and optimizing server resources. Required
Knowledge of FTP protocols for data transfer and TNS names for Oracle databases. Required
Project-oriented mindset with the ability to plan and execute complex GIS infrastructure projects. Required
Proven experience in GIS Architecture, specifically in electric and gas utility operations. Preferred
Strong understanding of GIS applications and technologies. Preferred

- Driver's License Required
