ConEdison Engineer, Distribution Engineering Overhead Standards and Planning in New York, New York
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering and 3 years of engineering work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering : Electrical or Mechanical
Relevant Work Experience
3-5 years Engineering Experience in the design of electrical distribution system, and electrical facilities or equipment Required
Experience scheduling and controlling small to moderately complex projects and assignments Required
Engineering specifications development Required
Electric construction or operations experience Required
Programming and AutoCAD experience Preferred
Coordinating and managing multiple projects across different working groups Preferred
Skills and Abilities
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision making skills
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able to work in an overhead and URD distribution environment.
Must be available to work rotating shifts and/or extended hours as operational needs and/or emergencies dictate
