Analyst/Associate, Special Projects (Safari Energy, A PPL Company)
Assist the CCO with various special projects and analyze and evaluate a variety of strategic business opportunities
Provide sales marketing support for both BD and Asset Acquisitions
Develop and assist with analytical tools and analyses in support of generating quality leads and driving revenue
Partner with colleagues in Business Development, Asset Acquisitions, Project Development and Project Finance on various project and business-related tasks
Research market trends and seek to develop assessments including implementation strategies and goals which will align with PPL’s broader economic and strategic goals
Support deal teams by assisting with deal sourcing and execution
Work closely with the Marketing and Communications (“MarCom”) to assist in the standardization of client facing presentations, proposals and other types of information
Partner with MarCom on contract execution and new opportunity communications
Assist the CCO with the rollout, training and implementation of MS Dynamics as the Company’s IT and CRM Platform
Create, format and edit documents using MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
Research federal and state photovoltaic (PV) incentive programs and report on changes
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (the “CCO”), the Analyst/Associate, Special Projects (ASP) will work closely with the CCO to analyze new markets, support certain business development activities, assist with the continuing implementation of Microsoft Dynamics and complete other projects and tasks as assigned. The ASP will also be responsible for providing support for various strategic initiatives and special projects across the Company’s business activities. The ability to work both independently and on a team is critical, as well as the desire and innovative mind set to operate as an important contributor within a fast-paced, growth environment.
The ASP will demonstrate an entrepreneurial passion for renewable energy and assist in a wide variety of activities. He or she will be expected to gather information from multiple sources and drive various initiatives to support projects and clients.
The ability to pursue independent research, analyze data and formulate supportable conclusions is critically important. Moreover, the ASP will need to have effective communication skills, both written and oral, to ensure that the results of his or her work can be effectively conveyed to others. In addition to supporting the CCO on various strategic activities, the ASP will work closely with Marketing and Communications and also support activities in those areas. The ASP will interface with, and may often support, other key departments, such as Business Development, Project Development, Project Finance, Legal and others to support the growth of the Company.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or Sustainability, Business, Finance, or related field
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to quickly and accurately solve problems and develop value-added solutions
Strong organization and attention to detail
Basic understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems
Basic understanding of project and structured finance
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
