As a member of the leave & other programs team, you will work with a team of other highly qualified co-workers who provide governance and oversight for Entergy’s leave, service recognition, and severance programs. This team is responsible for the planning, design, evaluation, project management, vendor oversight and administration of Entergy’s leave programs and other Total Rewards programs that deliver an employment value proposition that recruits, retains and drives performance . In addition, this team facilitates and provides project management support for Total Rewards programs, policies, and procedures that cross functional areas.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assists with planning and strategy for Entergy’s leave programs including plan design changes, long term strategy and plan consolidation.

  • Ensures legal compliance, including compliance with federal, state and local mandated leave laws.

  • Conducts strategic review, maintenance, and interpretation of Total Rewards related system policies.

  • Provides oversight and guidance to HR Operations to ensure accurate and timely administration of Entergy’s leave programs. Conducts training for HR Operations employees to ensure their ability to provide customer support.

  • Assists with managing vendor administration/relationships and engage with vendors, as well as, Entergy IT throughout the year to support various programs. Oversee development and revisions to HR administrative procedures and policies when applicable.

  • Sustains HR compliance and proactively mitigates risk through internal monitoring of operations and administration, including corrective action of any inadequate controls identified. Rigorously monitors the regulatory and legislative landscape for impacts on leave programs.

  • Builds enterprise-wide Premier Utility capacity and capability through support of M&As projects

  • Support strategic changes (including the Total Rewards Strategy) that delivers an employment value proposition that recruits, retains and drives performance

  • Supports labor contract negotiations, grievances, and Request for information (RFIs) processes.

  • Delivers premier people cost management by supporting rate case testimony related to benefits.

  • Facilitates support to rate case testimony and RFIs for all of Human Resources which could include managing the review and submittal of consolidated HR responses.

  • Engages in key HR & Total Rewards initiatives (OHI, DIBs, volunteerism, H&S)

Minimum education & experience required of the position:

  • Total Rewards Analyst III - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field +3 years of experience OR in lieu of a degree 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field

  • Sr Total Rewards Analyst – Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field +5 years of experience OR in lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Leadership and project management skills are essential to lead projects or specific workstreams.

  • Ability to confidentially work on projects and manage sensitive records of the company.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to foster relationships within and across various teams and departments

  • Effectively prioritizes and handles multiple projects and deliverables with the ability to drive results.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HRIS applications and COGNOS is helpful but not required

  • Ability to quickly gain subject matter level knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures.
