JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This position is responsible for supervising, executing, and ensuring consistent project controls processes. Execute and oversee daily schedule, cost, and reporting operations for Transmission projects in delivering cost and schedule certainty and associated metrics/reporting for all projects within the portfolio. Performs cost and schedule analysis, estimates, maintenance, and forecasts and reporting metrics related to projects in all stages of development through execution and closeout. Compiles performance information related to projects cost and schedule and prepares reports. Provides supervisory and analytical expertise to support project and portfolio management.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises assigned team of Analysts. Provides oversight, supportand coaching to the assigned staff.

  • Ensures project controls cost, schedule, and reporting processes are implemented on assigned projects in line with Management Standards and Stage Gate Process requirements. Prepares project/program/enterprise status reports.

  • Interfaces with project controls management, project team(s), and other stakeholders as necessary for cost and schedule control monitoring, analysis, and reporting.

  • Updates and maintains project budgets and schedule information.

  • Provides accurate cost and schedule reporting, trending analysis and recommends corrective actions.

  • Provides guidance on quantitative risk analysis to validate schedule and cost contingency.

  • Identifies need for cost, schedule, and reporting analysis support for projects and recommends development or modification of cost, schedule, and reporting data standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education Required for the Position

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position.

  • At least 8-10 years professional experience in related field.

  • Desired: Capital projects development and execution experience. Project Controls Cost experience. Experience working in a matrix organization. Project Controls reporting/metrics development experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position.

  • Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Desired: Knowledge of Entergy financial and accounting systems and processes. Knowledge and experience using Primavera.

  • Supervisory experience leading teams.

Any certificates, licenses, etc. required of the position.

  • AACEI Certified Cost Technician

  • AACEI Certified Cost Professional

  • PMP Certification
