Job Summary:

Seeking a driven, high-energy, highly experienced change management specialist to support Entergy’s Corporate Business Services (“CBS”) in achieving its strategic direction of operational excellence. This specialist will actively execute on initiatives focused on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, technology, organizational structure and job roles. Note: CBS is comprised of Shared Services, Information Technology and Supply Chain.

Job Duties/Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute a change management strategy that mitigates risk and drives leadership alignment

  • Plan, design and execute change management and communication plans to ensure faster adoption and utilization by stakeholders

  • Execute tactical activities that include, but are not limited to:

  • Impact analyses

  • Organizational readiness

  • Focus groups & surveys

  • Learning/training

  • Communications

  • Resistance management

  • Change leadership

  • Deployment/adoption measurement

  • Design, develop and execute deliverables that are strategically aligned to support communications and training efforts in order to help stakeholders prepare for, transition through, and adopt change

  • Collaborate with leaders to seek input and prioritize deliverables

  • Report ongoing status, stakeholder readiness and overall project health

Minimum education required of the position:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • At least 10 years of change management experience required

  • Direct experience with Shared Services, IT and/or Supply Chain organizations preferred

  • Experience in communicating with all levels of the organization and adapting to various stakeholder needs

  • Demonstrated experience consulting with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables and presenting results/recommendations

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Prosci certification preferred

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts

  • Strong consulting skills with ability to influence leaders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent active listening skills

  • Understand importance of frequent and effective communication

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Relationship building and management skills

  • Innovative in using various communication channels

  • Organizational skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word
