The Automation Support Analyst provides technical support and administration of the Intelligent Automation portfolio to include Robotic Process Automation, Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence technologies. Interfaces across the enterprise, ensuring uninterrupted, successful schedule execution of automations in test and production environments at Enterprise scale. Provides support for complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services.
Perform monitored runs in test and production environments to ensure that automations execute properly.
Manage the schedule execution of automations in test and production environments at Enterprise scale.
Ensure development, test, and production environments are online and report execution errors to developers for automation remediation/correction.
Monitoring and reporting on automation executions.
User Administration: provisioning of credentials, roles, licenses and virtual desktops
Liaison with IT and business teams and provide technical expertise in support of program delivery.
Facilitates security access requests in support of automation development.
Submits support tickets to request access to the systems, software, network resources as needed in support of automation program
Provides ongoing support and maintenance of automation environments.
Provides support for complex technical issues and initiatives related to assigned applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services within the Entergy domain.
Configure Automation Anywhere, both Control Room and Client at enterprise scale and ensuring disaster recovery capabilities for business continuity.
Support Entergy Intelligent Automation Vision
Interacts with automation vendor support resources.
Analyzes performance trends and recommends process improvements.
Understands quality, security and compliance requirements for supported areas and reviews changes for risk to production systems; participates in testing and updating the business continuation plan.
Participate in triage bridge lines and work on critical production issues during off work hours.
Must work periodic on-call rotation schedule.
Minimum education required of the position:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
0-2 years of experience supporting Business IT Applications, Digital technologies, and Platform implementation.
0-2 years of experience supporting intelligent automation technologies.
1+ years of experience working with application Integration is a plus
1+ years of experience working knowledge of operational or integration support of business applications is a plus
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Strong troubleshooting skills, and an understanding technology integration in an enterprise software environment.
Strong understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications
Working knowledge of different application architecture types and the integration requirements based on the architecture type
Extensive working knowledge of Application and Software development lifecycle
Ability to interpret Process Design documents and Technical Design documents in a Robotic Process Automation space.
Complete understanding of various automation components and features available in Automation Anywhere.
Strong understanding with software quality assurance procedures and processes
Strong understanding of software design patterns
Strong analytical skills and ability to improvise configuration / coding to new situations.
Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented.
Well-organized with excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical users.
Microsoft PowerApps and Power Automate experience is a plus.
Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position
