Reporting to the Gas Crew Supervisor, you manage all aspects of each project to which your crews are assigned (including safety, quality and productivity); functions as an advocate and role model for our Leadership Principles and Culture of Personal Responsibility. No Shortcuts, No Quick Fixes, No Compromises to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
What You'll Do
Manage reporting, including weekly submittal of complete and correct timekeeping and paperwork on job progress and costs
Meet customer requirements in daily operations
Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules
Inspect work on-site
Resolve work problems
Maintain time records and such other paperwork to manage each project
Abide by, explain, and enforce NPL procedures
Spot and coach talent, making recommendations on hiring and promoting crew personnel
Other tasks as requested by leadership
What You'll Have
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in Underground Natural Gas Pipeline construction
3+ years experience as a Foreman at a utility construction company
Class A CDL license
OSHA Certified Competent Person
OSHA 30 completion

Work Environment
Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions
All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English
Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Work is performed within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Legal Stuff
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
