The Renewable Energy Plan Senior Engineer is responsible for owning the renewable energy regulatory process, which includes leading various plan and reconciliation regulatory filings including serving as an expert witnesses to defend the Company's renewable supply strategy: (i) writing testimony, (iii) conducting complex analyses to create workpapers and exhibits (iii) responding to interrogatory, and (iv) testifying in cross-examinations. In addition, this position will be responsible to support the implementation of renewable energy solicitations, evaluation of proposal alternatives and preparing testimony and exhibits. This position also has ownership of the Company's renewable energy supply which includes: (i) managing the supply strategy of renewable energy, (ii) modeling renewable energy supply, and (iii) identifying new renewable energy supply to serve the Company's compliance obligations and voluntary renewable energy programs.

Lead Experimental Advanced Renewable Program
Economic modeling and analytical skills
Understanding of MPSC rules and regulations as they apply to the Company’s Renewable Energy Plan, Voluntary Green Pricing Program, and supply contracts.
Development and interpretation of legal documents including contracts, amendments, testimony and exhibits.
Clear and concise communication skills with customers and business partners
Ability to lead cross functionally using CE Way tools (Standard Work, Visual Management, etc)
7 or more years of applied ABET exempt engineering working experience. PE designation is preferred
Regulatory Experience (preferred)
Individual will be responsible for the Renewable Energy filings and reporting (annual reconciliations, biennial plans, PSCR Plans and Reconciliations, Integrated Resource Plan, Experimental Advanced Renewable Program, monthly governmental reporting). Individual will be responsible to supply Voluntary Green Pricing program development and distributed energy resource program development from a regulatory and energy supply perspective. Individual possesses the skills to lead, problem solve, and work well in a cross functional team environment.

Hours and Travel
Minimum of 40 hours per week (45-50 typical). Individuals need to be willing to work additional hours as necessary to meet deadlines.
10% Travel is required to job sites, project/regulatory meetings and various presentations
