Pike Corporation Business Analyst in Mount Airy, North Carolina

Position Summary:The Business Analyst position reports directly to the Pike Corporation (“Pike”) Director, Financial Planning & Analysis. This position will be actively involved in day-to-day financial variance analysis, statistical analysis and tracking key contractual service levels for senior management review. This position will also work closely with the Pike Operations Project Managers, Finance, and Blackbelt project teams.

  • Essential Functions: *

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collection and analysis of data to reveal patterns and anomalies which can, in turn, be used to predict future trends

  • Perform quality control on final reports

  • Present findings to Senior Management and identify & evaluate potential solutions

  • Monthly and Quarterly compilation and review of business Operations KPI’s

  • As a member of Operations, from time to time, this role may be customer facing

  • Special projects

  • Other Requirements: *

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree with concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics

  • 3 years of relevant experience in Operations or Finance preferred

  • Knowledge of Financial Statements and ability to track the impact of business decisions on financial results, highly preferred

  • Lean, Blackbelt or Greenbelt certifications a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word

  • SAS ex

  • Ability to deliver effective and qualitative results while meeting tight deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

  • Team-oriented, self-motivated player with solid work ethic

  • Accountable for specific performance goals and objectives

  • Computer system conversion experience valued
