Pay range : $62,900 to $135,200 per year

About this position:
The Electric Central Maintenance Engineer will be primarily responsible for assisting Montana Operations in the execution of Distribution and Transmission electric assessment programs associated with the Wildfire mitigation program. This position will provide engineering, data analysis and project management skill to support the Electric Central Maintenance Department.

About this job:
Collect data, analyze, design, and estimate to produce engineering project documentsProvide technical and other program support for various company departments
Ensure project compliance and oversight of auditable guidelines, policies, practices, and organization standards, including federal and state regulations relating to design solutions
Assist in developing and managing Central Maintenance budgets
Manage capital and expense projects
Compile and write technical reports
Occasional lifting of materials up to 40 pounds required
Travel to jobsites, off-site meetings, and trainings (up to 25% travel per year) including overnight stays when necessary

Demonstrate & maintain a good safety record
Must have a B.S. degree in Engineering
Knowledge and experience in construction/project management work preferred
Knowledge of the NESC, NEC, IEEE Reliability Standards, and DOT regulations preferred
Knowledge of International Fuel Gas Code & DOT Pipeline Safety Regs Parts 191 and 192 preferred.
Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Access and Excel required
Valid driver's license & satisfactory driving record
