In support of OPS Southwire Culture of Zero, the Process Support Lead responsibilities consist of providing resource support for the Lean and EHS requirements performing day-to-day environmental, safety and health responsibilities to comply with those regulatory requirements, as well as providing direction for company directive strategic EHS initiatives using COZ principles.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create synergy and support the EHS and COZ culture.

  • Develop and monitor effective EHS management strategies, provide recommendations on Canadian regulatory compliance.

  • Provide direction and support to achieve zero recordable incidents through safety observations, Injury free events, safety interactions, hazard identification and elimination.

  • Audit Assess and monitor activities to ensure EHS federal and provincial regulatory requirements are being met satisfied.

  • Provides safety communication and liaison support between employees, facility management, and Canadian jurisdictions CCOHS ,OHSA and OHS.

  • Ensure the facility have appropriate permits as required.

  • Lead and oversee the 4DX, Safety , Lean Optima and RCA , EHS inspections and operational audit programs to assure compliance in EHS.

  • Ensure the construction and other operational changes have appropriate permits as required.

Qualifications and Requirement

  • Preferred Bachelor degree or business administration.

  • Effective communication,team building skills,organizing skills.

  • More than 5 years of warehouse experience.

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Suite 365.

  • Cross functional experience of SCM, quality is required.
