Job Summary

North Anna Power Station in Mineral, VA is seeking a Supervisor-Nuclear Training (ILT) to join the team.

  • Supervise the staff and operation of Nuclear Training's Initial License Group. Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of Initial License Training to support nuclear training objectives, safe and reliable operation of the nuclear stations, and to meet requirements of regulatory and accrediting agencies.

  • Plans strategically to maintain the qualifications, certification, continuous education, and quantity of Initial License Instructor staff and ensure the assigned training programs maintain their INPO accreditation and NRC regulatory compliance.

  • Supervises for consistent application of Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) practices for curriculum and examination development for respective programs.

  • Individual will be responsible to conform to the group's annual budget.

  • Perform other duties as requested or assigned

The company is actively seeking United States military veterans and service members who meet the qualifications outlined below.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 7+ years of directly related work experience to include at least 2 years in a first-line supervisory or leadership capacity (gained from assuming upgrade, supervisory, and/or project management of special project responsibilities).

Note : A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will count as one year toward the year of experience. A Master's Degree will count as one year toward the years of experience.

Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5 plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined above are encouraged to apply.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
