As an Estimator, your key responsibilities will be to evaluate bid specifications and drawings, ensuring that we know everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Follow-up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received, and work with the Project Management teams to follow-up on bids and budgets to close the business. Critical for success are the abilities to produce highly accurate work in a timely manner, maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.

    What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering

  • 3-5 years of marine construction estimating experience or heavy civil construction estimating

  • Negotiating experience

  • Solid MS Office and estimating software skills

  • Must possess a valid driver license for they type(s) of vehicles you may drive and an acceptable driving record

  • Travel is required. Travel may account for up to 25% of the time and/or limit the ability to return home during off time

  • Remote work is available with travel to office as needed
