As an On-Site Quality Control Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to apply quality control program standards in accordance with project specifications to meet customer requirements. The position will also plan and coordinate activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals and activities are accomplished withing prescribed time frame and funding parameters. It is essential to demonstrate an understanding of how the business runs, how changing circumstances are handled and who to contact when there are questions. Critical for success are strong communication skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining strict attention to detail.

    What it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, 10+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Qualifications in heavy civil construction (concrete, sheet piling, etc.)

  • Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record

  • Travel, which may include extended duration, is required. Must have the ability to commit onsite projects
