Position Specific Description

Responsible for performing a broad scope of engineering assignments of moderate difficulty requiring knowledge in engineering-related disciplines. Plans, organizes and communicates project statuses. Conducts independent studies and analysis, and provides interpretations and conclusions. Provide written reports on technology advancements as well as technical support to the engineering industry and FPL customer facing personnel on periodic basis. Will periodically meet with engineers, designers and manufacturer representatives to explain FPL HVAC programs and facilitate participation in the programs.

The top candidate must have demonstrated HVAC and mechanical systems experience. Must be able to perform technical and economic analysis of customer owned energy efficiency and commercial HVAC projects. Candidate should have a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Demonstrate sales experience in commercial HVAC industry and knowledge of FPL HVAC programs. Professional Engineering (PE) Certification is a plus.

Job will regular travel in the tri-county area and occasionally travel throughout FPL’s service territory .
