Job Summary

MasTec is currently seeking a Customer Outreach Representative in Miami, FL. To work as an FPL representive for the Storm Secure Underground Program. "The Storm Secure Underground Program analyzes data from past hurricanes, vegetation-related service interruptions and other reliability metrics to identify areas that would most benefit from having power lines placed underground.

We’ve completed hundreds of these neighborhood projects throughout our service area – and we plan to continue bringing the benefits of undergrounding to more of our customers in the years ahead."

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contacting each property owner to discuss the project and proposed equipment placement with customer.

  • Gaining the customer’s agreement to proceed with the project as planned and acquiring all necessary signatures for easements and acknowledgement forms.

  • Customer outreach will also include on-going communication with the property owners and property occupants throughout all stages of the project, in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

  • Requires great customer service and communication skills, as well as purposeful follow up and documentation skills.

  • Be able to professionally communicate in person, over the phone and email with customers, staff, and vendors.

  • Ability to read and understand construction and engineering plans.

  • Coordinate special projects as assigned.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.

  • 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the construction industry.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish).

  • Associate degree.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, and scanners.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is primarily sedentary, with some filing or lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
