Position Specific Description Smile: you’ve found us! Come join our IT customer-centric applications team in expansion. We are seeking an Agile leader, in this role you will be focused on two different areas:

IT Business Partnership – You will assist the respective IT business partners in their roles interacting with the Business Unit leadership. This includes assisting with:

  • Strategic Roadmap Development and Delivery
  • Portfolio Development and Management
  • Business Liaison
  • Service Management
  • IT Liaison

You will also focus on process improvements within the IT organizations in FPL Systems. This will include:

  • Six Sigma project identification
  • Six Sigma project mentoring
  • Black Belt Level projects to drive operational savings and efficiencies

Job Overview This position oversees and manages the design, development and implementation of short and long term solutions to Information Technology (IT) needs, through new and existing applications. Employees in this role develop and implement strategic initiatives and business plans, to support the IT vision and business unit objectives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities • Develops and implements operational policies and work standards, to maximize effectiveness of services • Works across the business at all levels of management, to deliver shared technology solutions • Provides leadership to management and professional staff • Manages the performance and results of one or more related disciplines and/or lines of business • Develops departmental plans, including business, production and /or organizational priorities • Develops business cases and provides cost estimates for new implementations and company acquisitions • Manages third-party consulting, technical and/or outsourcing relationships, to deliver project and operational support commitments • Oversees candidate review and selection, in order to attract and retain a high performing and diverse team • Promotes strong teamwork and working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers • Ensures overall conformance to security and regulatory requirements for corporate data management • Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications • High School Grad / GED • Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience • Experience:8+ years • Supervisor/Management Experience:2+ years Preferred Qualifications • None
