National Grid Principal Analyst, Process and Performance Reporting in Melville, New York

This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose The successful candidate will take responsibility for supporting efforts associated with both the near- and long-term strategy of NY Gas. The Principal Analyst assists in articulating and operationalizing efforts associated with the NY Gas strategic vision. The candidate will interact with senior leadership and subject matter experts in support of various change management initiatives. The candidate will support the performance and operational meeting cadence for the NY Gas COO. This position requires an individual with excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong change management capability, and can deliver significant business results. ## Key Accountabilities Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): + Lead, own and champion change across the business and within the process, managing operational and organizational change for business excellence and growth, as well as inspiring and engaging others in new ways of matrix working, innovation and performance to enhance value and commitment + Support key strategic initiatives including the performance cadence and operational rhythm of the NY Gas COO + Engage people and develop them through teamwork and a high level of participation + Assess change readiness and prepare a plan for helping stakeholders through change ## Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in an analytical business discipline or engineering + 3+ years of management experience required + A strong, successful record in providing strategic leadership, implementing change and delivering against key business objectives preferred + Proven experience influencing senior executives of an organization preferred + Demonstrated background of engaging with business leaders to successfully bring together and drive cooperation across diverse teams with potentially conflicting goals and objectives preferred + Influential, energetic and enthusiastic business leader, with the drive, ambition and resilience to make things happen and deliver outstanding performance preferred + Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and determine priorities in a team environment + Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively, both orally and in writing and must be able to present information in a clear and concise manner to Jurisdictional leadership ## More Information National Grid is an equal opportunity employer that values a broad diversity of talent, knowledge, experience and expertise.
