This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business. ## Job Purpose Responsible for supporting the development, implementation and evolution of process for ensuring timely and efficient management of capital and operational expense work through the engineering and design work flow process, from project inception to closeout, including in part, work package preparation, design pre-work, work package issuance, work modification and work process closeout. A successful candidate will develop, implement, manage and evolve strategies to identify process improvement and create a system and culture of sharing best practices; enabling process capabilities across Gas Systems Engineering. ## Key Accountabilities Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): + Responsible for scoping, analyzing and progressing process and performance improvement projects or initiatives within Gas Asset Management and Engineering + Evaluate and improve process for tracking and reporting progress of capital work from inception to closeout + Lead the setting of and measurement of performance targets and milestones and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ensuring they reflect and drive improved process performance and monitor and analyze performance data to ensure projects are delivering against expectations + Devise mechanism for review of "Engineering" components to ensure information is accurate, consistent and complete + Engage effectively with the business, building sustainable relationships to enable collaborative working and ensure accountability for performance and for correcting performance failures within business functions + Support the design and establishment of process standards and procedures to support the attainment of corporate and financial goals and requirements that reduce cost and complexity across the enterprise and align to safety and compliance standards ## Qualifications + Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science required + 7+ years’ experience in engineering or related field required + Proven track record of analyzing and proposing process improvements preferred + Proven experience interacting with and making presentations to senior management to communicate project details, progress and updates preferred + Valid driver's license required ## More Information This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
