Pay rate $ 33.09

Job Purpose

Compile information; make calculations and use in the preparation of reports, studies, research projects, etc. Prepare or assist in the preparation of test orders, work orders, charts, graphs, diagrams and other related material as required. Maintain records such as schedules, status reports, data on equipment, etc. Prepare or assist in the preparation of routine letters, forms, bill of materials, or sketches. Contact manufacturers, vendors, contractors, as required, to obtain information, expedite receipt of drawings or material. Prepare or assist in the preparation of data for processing by computer. Assemble required specifications and drawings for use in obtaining quotations for equipment and contracted work. Make field trips as directed. May be required to obtain routine data from field. Perform other routine duties as required.

Key Accountabilities



Ability to read and write English, comprehension at a level to post information from one record to another. Maintain files and logs, plot graphs, knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, composition and business writing.

* Education:*

  • Successful completions of College level courses in Algebra, Trigonometry, Physics, Drafting and/or Surveying or equivalent Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) education.

  • High School diploma/GED required

Three years’ experience in this or related work.

In addition to possessing the qualifications for this vacancy, employees selected will be expected to work overtime in accordance with departmental requirements and to participate in the Company's Emergency Restoration Program as may be required.

Employees selected for this classification will be required to participate in federally mandated drug testing programs prior to selection, randomly on a year-round basis, after an accident and for reasonable cause.
