Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quantitative and technical support for PSEG Long Island’s Electric Vehicle programs. Candidate will develop skills in light-duty vehicle electrification opportunities and challenges customers will face when making the switch to electric vehicles. The position will be responsible for supporting the Electric Vehicle Team by analyzing data such as electric vehicle charging profiles, application review, follow up with customers which may require onsite visits to customer sites to ensure their applications are accurate. Additionally, the position will support the Electric Vehicle team with their ongoing programs as well as future initiatives that focuses on transportation electrification.

Job Responsibilities

The position will serve to ensure that day-to-day EV Make Ready program activity continues to proceed on a timely and accurate basis. The position will support the annual metric goals to ensure the goals are achieved.

In addition to interacting with the Energy Efficiency and Renewables team, this position interacts with other areas of the Company including Building and Renovation Services, Projects & Construction, Budget, Customer Operations, Legal, PSEGLI contractors and various trade allies.

More specifically, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Maintain accurate tracking files of electric vehicle make ready program application statuses and identifying and suggesting solutions for applications encountering obstacles.

• Speak with customers to ensure their applications are accurate and provide all necessary information

• Liaison with peers in operating and customer departments to ensure projects maintain momentum to completion.

• Educate customers on the benefits of, and incentives available to, installing electric vehicle charging stations

• Develop reports and dashboards necessary to effectively understand program activity at the cumulative and project level.

• Keep abreast of electric vehicle technologies or implementation strategies being undertaken across the country

• Participate in work groups of industry organizations in order to improve departmental knowledge and vocalize PSEG Long Island interests

Job Specific Qualifications

Required

• Bachelors’ degree, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science.

• Must demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to work in both team and independent settings

• Must demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

• Must demonstrate the ability to develop and deliver an informative and effective presentation

• Must possess exceptional customer sensitivity and a commitment to customer satisfaction

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Powerpoint

• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license and a safe driver history; must have the ability to travel to customer site locations

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Electric Vehicles or Electric Utility Company

• Advanced degree
