Quality Control Technician

Entry Level:$21.30 - $28.53 /hour
Primary duties include sampling and testing aggregate, asphalt and concrete products to ensure they are within required specifications, record and communicate results to designated department personnel, maintain files and records of testing and inspection activity, acquire and maintain ODOT certifications through various training opportunities. Work performed in Jackson and Josephine counties.
The ability to follow testing procedures and accurately document test results is critical.
Experience in reading plans and specifications if preferred.
Strong math and computer skills. Statistics background helpful but not required.
Ability to think through and solve problems.
Be able to lift samples of up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the work day.
Have a good driving record.
Be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Be committed to working safely at all times.
